Andrew Tunney Photography Introduces Secure eInvoicing for Clients

CAIRNS, QUEENSLAND, 11 September 2026:

Andrew Tunney Photography now supports eInvoicing, giving eligible business and government clients a faster, more secure way to receive invoices for professional photography services in Cairns and across Far North Queensland.

Unlike a PDF attached to an email, an eInvoice contains structured invoice data that is exchanged directly between the supplier’s and client’s compatible accounting software through the secure Peppol network. This can reduce manual data entry, improve accuracy and help accounts teams process invoices more efficiently.

For clients of Andrew Tunney Photography, the new option provides a streamlined process from photography booking and project delivery through to accounts payable. It is particularly useful for corporate, commercial and government clients that already use eInvoicing-enabled software.

A Safer Way to Exchange Invoice Information

Cybersecurity and invoice fraud are growing concerns for Australian businesses. Peppol eInvoices are transmitted through approved access points using the participating buyer’s and supplier’s ABNs. According to the Australian Taxation Office, this lowers the risk of intercepted, fraudulent or compromised invoices compared with invoices sent through the post or by email. Only the supplier, buyer and their digital service providers can view the eInvoice.

Clients should continue applying their usual approval, verification and payment controls before paying any invoice.

The Australian Government appointed the Australian Taxation Office as Australia’s Peppol Authority in 2019. In this role, the ATO governs the Australian framework, accredits service providers and maintains standards designed to protect the network’s integrity. The ATO does not receive or view invoice information transmitted between businesses.

Traditional invoicing remains available for clients who do not use eInvoicing.
